I didn't heed the warnings in other reviews about weak key locks and ordered this one thinking such a problem must have been a one off issue. Dopp would not sell such a defective product. Not right! It's not that the design of the clasps is that flimsy, it's that the design requires the non-resilient steel to be bent to open the clasp when the key is put on. Therefore, when the key is on and the clasp is closed, it may appear to close securely, when in fact it does not. The clasp is unobtrusively curved, making it easy to open. When the latch first opened, I heard the key hit the floor. The next time I got to the front door, I opened the suitcase and found a lone open latch dangling. I can't find the key to the door anywhere. Next stop: Back to Revain, where you order a key pouch that slips around the keys.
