Review on Dorman Cabin Air Filter Retrofit Kit 259-201 for Cadillac, Chevrolet, and GMC Models by Tim Larsen

Installed in my 11 Series Silverado LT cab. The installation is a bit tricky as it is very narrow under the dashboard. Remove the resistor plug next to the filter to make room to work. Removing the fan shroud completely also gives you more room to work. I used a small flathead screwdriver, which I used to sharpen the edge to make a cut around the plastic panel that needs to be removed to install the filter. Give this panel a good rating and then use a sharp X-acto knife or utility knife to cut out the panel. Once it doesn't interfere with the rest of the setup. Why GM didn't install this filter from the factory is beyond me. STUPID GM decision!
