Shelf installs easily and securely holds cable box and Blu-ray player. However, once the wall shelf is installed and the connected AV equipment is placed on the shelves, it is not possible to hide the cables by routing them through the ducts. You still get a visible tangle of wires. Any attempt to route cables after the shelf is installed will only break the flimsy plastic combs. This will invalidate one of the advertised features of this product. When I asked for advice, the support rep sent instructions on how to route the cords through the plastic comb before installing the shelf on the wall, but that's inconvenient at best and not possible when power cords are permanently connected to devices.
