Aluminum and GRP Installation: 1. Determine desired location on FLAT SURFACE. 2. Outline the pad with a fine marker. 3. Use the included fine sandpaper to remove ALL paint from the surface down to the shiny bare aluminum. (Skip the sanding step to install the fiberglass.) 4. Clean the surface with the alcohol prep pads provided, then allow to air dry. 5. Remove the 3M backing sheet from the star pad and apply maximum hand pressure for a minute or two to allow the adhesive to set. (NOTE: Take your time and do it right because once the pad touches the surface, adjustment is NOT possible.)
