This thing is amazing, you can tell it's very well constructed and does exactly what it's designed to do. But be careful, I'm repairing the pins on the motherboard right now because (through my fault) I dropped the original attachment mechanism into the socket when removing it. I was able to strip a few channels of RAM until I got a new motherboard and am now fixing another one to put into another build. I'm usually pretty careful and this can happen to anyone, just take your time, completely remove the motherboard and you'll be fine, but mistakes can happen. I'm seeing big temperature swings, I'm in a custom loop with a 360mm radiator cooling the GPU and CPU. I can either turn on the fans and run my 9700k almost silently at 30% at stock speeds and never go over 61 seconds. Or I can overclock to 5.2GHz and stay 50 percent below 72C with the fans. Just being realistic with my numbers, nothing to whip up, performance is great, I could never do that with IHS enabled, but I feel like some people are exaggerating the real world differences, hope this helps!
