IMPORTANT update: So the company contacted me and offered to fix the problem. They have great service and offered to send me a new product to replace the broken one. Man, this product does the job. I work in the fields, and when it gets dark early this little fellow brings you daylight. The design is great, gives you a wide field of light so you can see MUCH more of your surroundings. There are no exposed wires to snag on and it all fits in the palm of your hand. The battery life is great and gives me several hours in the field. I've had several fixtures to work with over the years and this is by far the best for many reasons. They were great out of the box. Brighter than I thought they would be. I work at night and they offer a wider field of vision than regular headlamps. However, I put them in my backpack and when I finally needed to use them, they never turned on. I thought maybe the battery was dead even though I only used it the day it was delivered. I let them charge for 2 hours and still nothing. The power light comes on to let me know the battery is charging, but none of the 4 lighting settings work.
