Review on Bingfu Police Radio Scanner Antenna - High-Quality Telescopic BNC Male Antenna for Uniden, Whistler, and More by Cory Whitney

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Keeps crashing.

The BNC connector on most BNC connectors does not have a spring holding it in the locked position. It's just a quarter turn BNC with no spring, no way to adjust antenna position. The length is decent but falls off constantly as there are no adjustment screws on it. It doesn't stand alone, is very sloppy and impossible to keep upright. You have to use the tacks on the wall to keep it upright or it keeps tipping over. This is my spare antenna and it requires quite a bit of maintenance and always fails. It fits and works, but keeps falling off. The price is cheap enough and you get what you pay for. Look for an antenna that at least has a way to adjust it so it stays vertical.

Pros
  • Compatible with Uniden, Whistler police radio scanners and CB Cobra, Uniden, Midland and Maxon handheld radios.
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
