The first camera sent in was defective and had to be sent back. The second camera had a bad power cable, but I had a spare mic/usb cable so I got the unit working. Also please remember that this camera and app do not support text push notifications to your mobile phone, they only send emails. I was very disappointed with that. As long as you are at home and with the camera on your own network, you can simply transfer the app to your phone, but once you leave home the app becomes useless and will not connect. Tried on iPhone and Samsung. So the whole idea of a security system is to be able to check the house when you're not at home? I had to return the whole unit when I found the faulty cable and bought many other models that have these features that work. But I bought this along with the latest (SWNVK-885804-US) 4K NVR and SWAAN cameras and figured I could pair it with the NVR, but they use two separate apps so you don't have to do that like most wireless systems do can record on the NVR device. Currently, the new NVR is supposed to send PUSH notifications, but it doesn't work either because no software has been written for it yet. Apparently, these devices are not yet ready for the market in the form in which they were configured. I would wait for them to update their software and apps before buying. The cameras and features are a good system when it works. I wrote this a few days ago and it's even worse than I thought. I'm sending this thing back because it describes absolutely nothing.
