Not everything it needs to be

Edited to add - had to return watch, couldn't remove silicon strap to put leather on, Garmin told me I'm not the first person to have this problem! If you are planning on replacing the strap I would not recommend this watch. First Review: I like the size, it stops there. Garmin has a great app, I love that it tracks sleep and has blood oxygen sensors - but you'll find this on all of their watches (and many others like the Garmin Pay and Coach). As other viewers have pointed out, the face doesn't always respond when you look at your wrist. You have to tap it pretty hard twice to wake it up, it usually works better if you tap it with your fingernail as well. My biggest problem with the lily is that it's ugly. I'm not a gold person, so the gold dial and details aren't my favorite, and the lack of an option to change the dial is also disappointing. The purple version seemed too childish for a grown woman to wear to work, so gold was the only choice. I went with black and picked up a leather strap, thinking I'd swap it out for a silicone strap in the summer and get a leather strap in case the silicone bothers my skin. In case you're wondering, I actually find the watch very comfortable and didn't cause any skin irritation, even on my sensitive skin. Now that I've tried silicone, I'm glad I went with leather because it's so much more comfortable. The silicone is very thick and protrudes almost to the dial, but since it's on the underside of the wrist, it's very uncomfortable to type at a desk during the day. I think the best option would be to buy a sporty white (better face than leather white) and then pay for a white leather strap so you have both options. Although it doesn't really work due to issues with the screws not allowing range switching. I am grateful that I discovered this issue during the return period. The leather strap is already torn and looks worn out after two weeks. The white silicone strap I ordered (to confirm no black silicone strap is offered called Garmin) does not work with the black dial due to the design of the watch. Although it claims the straps are interchangeable as you can see in the picture, this is not entirely true. Your original strap color is the color of the dial hanging over the new strap. That looks strange and isn't true. Not only that, but the exchange process is a joke. They have two small plastic tabs (like soda can tabs) that you need to place on either side of the screws and turn in opposite directions. This took forever and was incredibly frustrating since many new smartwatches have straps that can be easily removed. There aren't any non-Garmin units on the aftermarket yet) makes me think I'd be better off with one of their slightly larger and more well-known series. I would be interested to know what Lily 2.0 has. I'm currently trying out the Vivoactive 4S which is the next size up and I'm impressed with how comfortable this silicone strap is and how many extra features it has. When I saw it I really realized that the Lily is very overpriced. what it does The Vivofit 4S is definitely bigger, but it's not as clunky and heavy as I feared. I'm waiting to check out the Venu as my only criticism of the Vivo 4S is the terrible resolution screen. The Venu is slightly larger than the Vivo 4S, however, so we'll see if it's worth compromising on size.
