I've tried at least half a dozen other leg straps. None of them were anywhere near it. These straps have velcro on one side, meaning the full length of the strap (which is stretchy - so it adapts to any foot size and, more importantly, allows you to make it as tight as you like). When you get the strap, the 2″ front leather tongue (with the male side of the velcro) folds back to the side that has a full-length female velcro that holds the tab so tight you'll think the manufacturer made those forget male side. But once you figure that out (you have to pull hard), you end up with a belt that holds exceptionally well (comfortably). Good product!
