This scale is far from heavy duty. After property.
This scale is AWAY from heavy use. After being in possession for about 30 days, the control panel fell from a height of 1 to 2 feet onto a wooden floor and shattered into pieces on impact. Both plastic sides popped out along with the screws and the two internal switches controlling the mode/tare functions broke. For comparison, we had a lightweight Pelouze scale that lasted about 15 years. We emailed the manufacturer last week but haven't received a response yet.
