This is TERRIBLE! If you can overcome the taste and smell, the comparative studies I've read will get you rave reviews, but if you're the average person who cares about these things, look for an alternative. Research ranked Liquid IV as the second most nutrient dense, so I may give it a try if I need a fortified alternative to regular saline. I literally didn't even finish the whole pack, and then I threw the rest in the bin. I didn't buy them to drink but to put in an enteral tube for migraines, vomiting and consequent dehydration. When I tried this, I experienced all of the above. The smell when mixed was a very bad omen. I thought it would dissipate but it stank everywhere! The smell also permeated the pouch and the pipe; rendering them unusable for future use. I'm still trying to rid my bathroom of the smell where I mixed things in a bag. The smell was SO disgusting. I can't imagine drinking it. The best approximation I can think of is that it smells like baby saliva x 10. Attention buyers!
