To date, we have used the mixer to successfully knead dough for several different types of bread, ciabatta, and even sand cakes. We have not yet tried protein with cream. Advantages that vary You can adjust the speed of this strong mixer, and it's not overly noisy. It can also be used to knead dough, whip egg whites or cream, and mix ingredients. I really appreciate how simple it is to use; inserting the bowl into the grooves and fixing it, switching out the nozzle, etc. Having a hole in the lid to add ingredients mid-whip is also a nice touch. Reasons to dislike: Until they took attention, that is. The instructions state that the bowl, lid, and nozzles should not be cleaned in the dishwasher because doing so will cause the product to discolor.
