I'm surprised at how impressed I am with this given the low price. We used a corrugated plastic backing that we received from the vet and this is a significant improvement. I thought cats would hate him because he's really small, but turns out he's not too small to fit our (small) adult cats. I didn't think they would have enough room to turn around, but because it's soft they have a little more room than I thought and could easily turn over. Despite the short distance, she definitely seems to prefer it to our old one, probably because she can see so clearly. Here she was much calmer than usual in a stretcher. I didn't have much trouble getting the cat inside; she didn't struggle like she usually does with our old stretcher. (And this is a cat who flatly refused to ride in a kitty stroller.) There's a faint chemical smell, but nothing that won't dissipate overnight. I really like how the insert comes out at the bottom. This way you can fold the bag up for storage, remove the bottom, wipe down and throw the rest of the bag in the washing machine for easy cleaning. All in all, this was a great purchase. We will likely have one for each of our cats as there is no way this is suitable for more than one cat.
