This Carpet Tape does the job very well. Used it for attaching a long hallway runner and pad which kept moving. Even with reading reviews of how to use it, it took some getting used to. Using scissors, I found that using sliding motion when cutting worked better than a normal cutting motion. To prevent it sticking to my scissors, I used some Skin so Soft wiped over the blades. It would be better for manufacturer to use a different plastic to wrap the product. It was very difficult to open. The plastic shrink wrapping sticks to the sides of tape. Most difficult packaging I have ever had in all my orders on ebay. Had to keep picking bits of packaging off the sides of the tape. I am now storing it in a Ziploc bag. If not stored in a sealable bag, it sticks to everything, and may damage non flooring surfaces.
