Review on 🏊 Swim in Harmony with H2O Audio Sonar - Underwater Waterproof Headphones with MP3 and Bluetooth by Chef Buntiloy

Waterproof paperweight!

The sound is very good, but the fragility of the USB connection makes it unusable. When I first took them out of the box, I read the instructions, which basically tell you how unreliable they are and tell you not to touch them once they're connected. And they tell you that if the USB connection drops, you need to cycle your computer AND your headphones again to get them working again. Right out of the box they connected for a moment, but even when I put them VERY carefully on the charging table for the first time, the connection was lost. I restarted my computer and headphones. Still no data connection. Although charging works. Her final advice was to try a different USB port. So I did this more carefully than I've ever done with a USB device to avoid damaging the headphone jack. And it worked! I removed the keyboard from the over-sensitive earbuds and began streaming a few MP3 podcast files along with about 20 songs. The instructions say you can organize your files in folders like "Podcasts" and "Music" so I did that. All files are transferred, but strangely very slowly. After they finished exercising, I took them to the pool, excited to try it! This is where the disappointment began. Instructions to tell the player to go to the first folder (press the "M" key twice) yielded absolutely NOTHING! No matter what I did - nothing worked either in the music folders or in the mp3. The only thing that helped were the stock files in the root folder. I thought well this is "mute" but decided to dry off and root the music instead and try again. I put the dry headphones back into their little SUPER DELICATE little magnetic connector to make sure nothing bothers them AND nothing. Wouldn't connect at all. Good. I restarted the computer and the headphones (turned the device off completely and waited 30 seconds before turning it back on). This time I plugged the magnetic connector into the headphones first to make sure they didn't move at all when I plugged the USB into the computer. I reconnected them very carefully and. Again nothing. So I very carefully unplugged the USB end and tried all 5 other USB ports - each one did. Tell me now. NOTHING! So most people would box them up and send them back, but I, no. i'm too stubborn I tried turning the device on and off at least 8 more times. Please note that the USB charging function never failed, only data. I even cleaned all the contacts with an electronic contact cleaner and a Q-tip. Can you guess what happened? NOTHING! So I thought maybe turning them off overnight to let them connect might do something. This morning (next day) I gave the computer and headphones another chance on a fresh, rested evening with both turned off. Yes, the h2o Sonar headphones shine in design and quality. Nothing happened again. So I thought maybe my USB ports are reversed (which the instructions imply because it can't be intentional) and I need a reset. So I looked up how to reset the USB controller on my Mac. I'm giving you some time to think about what happened next. I have no way of downloading with this data stream. This seems like a much better idea for waterproof items (and clearly more reliable than the current method). Come on engineers, you guys really need to figure this out. Finally, Bluetooth streaming works fine but is almost useless when swimming because Bluetooth cannot penetrate water. I have much cheaper and better sounding swimming headphones. I ordered a replacement to make sure it was an isolated case. I will update my review if anything new comes up.
