2007 Nissan Altima - this worked right away and worked when I had to drive in 34 degree Fahrenheit cold weather this morning. I will update it if I need to replace it. I hope it never will. For owners of 2007 and similar Altimas, having swapped out I'd say the installation process is relatively easy - should take less than 15 minutes. You will need an 8mm socket and a Phillips screwdriver. 1: Remove the driver's side access panel. (disconnect) 2. Remove the panel under the left lower part of the steering wheel (also snap off) 3. 2 screws fasten the lower steering column panel under the steering wheel. One is where the second removed plate was, and the other is where the engine code reader interface is (most often removed from the steering wheel). Remove these 2 screws.4. You can now remove the lower steering column cover (recommended) or simply remove the left side to access the 3 screws that you now need to remove. Remove the two bottom screws, they secure it to the bottom of the bracket. They should be in the second panel that you removed - on screw.6. Remove the single screw in the top right corner of the fuses. It can be hidden behind the cable.7. After the screws are removed, pull the fuse box toward you. He has to slip. You don't have to take everything; enough to access the fan motor relay.8. On a 2007 Altima, the fan relay is farthest from the left blue fuse. Remember which position it was in when you pull it out - you don't have to pull out the entire assembly.9. Assemble everything in reverse order. Hope that helps. I was just looking at some photos of how to do this, but they didn't show any photos of removing the lower steering column cover. currently)
