I've been wearing Teva flip flops for almost 20 years. I had at least 12 pairs. This is the first time I have a problem. The plastic band was very sharp and cut my right leg in two places. As a workaround, I melted the sharp edges with matchsticks. I have pale white skin and the paint on it turns the soles of my feet black every time I wear them. I've ridden them at least 40 miles in the past few weeks and they're still turning my legs black. I had blisters when other couples broke them open. This was to be expected. I have never been cut. Has anyone else had problems with Teva lately? They'll go in the trash as soon as I find a replacement. I give Tev and try the flip flops again. If the same problems occur, I will buy another brand in the store.
