This is a great collar and works well as advertised. This was an extreme case for us as we tried headgear, sliding chain collars, flat regular collars... and a harness... nothing worked at all. A very stubborn dog and the first dog we had a leash training problem with. We are glad that you read all the information and watched the video on how to properly put on the collar and work with our dog. We have a very sweet but energetic pulling muscular Australian Shepherd boy...very very smart and obedient in many ways but he WILL NOT stop pulling. The collar allows us to walk with him without any problems and protects his throat, trachea and larynx from damage. Excellent quality, very well made. We ordered a quick release collar which is easy to put on and take off. We were hesitant to take this collar for a long time as it looks intimidating but is actually much gentler on the dog than choke chains or even ordinary flat collars.
