Review on Walker 16467 Direct Catalytic Converter by Vedavyas Fleming

Extremely bad welding quality. Includes two studs welded on with thumbtacks, but one of them didn't have thumbtacks so I had to weld on the stud myself to make the cat usable. All of the welds looked like they were doing it for the first time. On the plus side, the dimensions were perfect for a hassle-free installation. Techs tell me not to expect very long lives from these non-genuine cats. As for my job with the welder in my shop, I can put up with Walker's lack of quality control to save money. If you pay for the installation, choose an expensive OEM cat to save the cost of replacing the cat again in the future.
