I have a '96 Camaro with a 3800 V6. It slowly lost oil pressure at idle, but I don't consider it to be worth fixing so I just kept driving it. After another 10,000 miles it started making lifter noise. At that time someone recommended Rislone to me and I tried it, and the lifter noise went away. I've driven the car hard for another 10,000 miles with no registered oil pressure at idle and it still runs fine. Anytime the lifter gets noisy, I add more Rislone, which has been about every 5000 miles.
