The painting shows metallic shimmering colors and some flat matte triangles. This color flat matte parts. You have to apply several times to get full coverage. It kinda reminds me of tempra paint or low medium acrylic shell. Yes, it lights up and it's amazing! You just have to play with the consistency a bit to understand how it works. If you apply too many layers before letting it dry completely, it may crack.
