I looked through the sizing chart and ordered 10-12 but my son couldn't fit it across his hips. Swapped for 14-16 and with just an inch more fabric I couldn't get them past my ass. Finally the 18-20 and they went to the waist but now he looks like he's wearing capris if I don't pull them up to the navel and that's ok we don't need a plumber in the school pool. The baby weighs only 103 pounds, and in terms of breast size, it is almost the average of 10-12 measurements. I think they need to reconsider the size chart and measure hips instead of weight and chest. Suitable for 10-12 in different clothes. So definitely small. I recommend buying at least one size larger
