Review on πŸ‘’ Palladium Men's Pampa Sahara Boots - Top-notch Footwear for Men by Andrew Mclemore

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Normal for occasional wear. However, Chuck Taylor is more reliable.

Pretty well done. A lightweight. They require insoles, just like most regular shoes these days. After just a month, five days a week, the outseam of the right heel cup started fraying and unraveling. Typically, this type of failure occurs on the inside when the shoe slips while walking. I wore this pair while walking six blocks to work and the lab. They will make an acceptable camping shoe but I wouldn't trust them for hiking or harsh environments as the stitching comes apart in one critical seam after light use. Caterpillars tend to pick up gravel but resist mud well. Grip on wet tiles and polished concrete is excellent. If I could get that Converse All Stars sole and cup, I'd have the perfect pair of canvas shoes.

Pros
  • Rubber sole
Cons
  • Negative present
