I was restoring a retro mountain bike, what I was looking for was good grip, light weight and not too slow. This tire weighs 1.2 pounds, has excellent grip even on some descents, and is surprisingly soft to absorb most impacts. Alignment may not be perfect on this skinny tire, but it is not noticeable. It can get a bit noisy on the sidewalk. That's why I deducted a star. Overall a great balance of weight, performance and comfort. I ride them on everything: pavement, sand, trail, downhill.
