I love my blender but this part is going to be expensive!
I love my blender but this part is going to be expensive. It's made of fragile plastic, and if you don't handle that part with the gloves that come with it, you're also buying shares in the company! I am very careful with the placement and removal of this part and push out the scrapers before removing this lever. As gentle as I was, the flimsy plastic still broke and I had to replace it. This is the 4th I've bought! If I didn't have to buy this thing, I wouldn't do it.
