I bought it about 4 years ago to store working files - that is, the disk is used all the time, writing-reading-deleting-additional recording withstands well. Formatted immediately under NTFS - and computers see everything, and TVs, no problems arose. A few days ago I started to glitch, then I wrote that I was denied access and tried (from my point of view) to make hara-kiri - the computer stopped seeing him. The other computer did see it, but gave a recycle bin error. The virus scan turned up nothing. A couple of days of dancing with tambourines (the terabyte is almost completely full and I really didnβt want to lose so much information) and the hostess forced me to register with access to all folders and everything worked again. What it was is not clear, but I suspect it's time to buy another external hard drive for safety net.
