Bucilla stockings are the best with easy instructions!
This is an adorable Christmas stocking. I'm doing this for my new grandson. I made 5 of these bucilla stockings for my kids when they were little and now I'm making them for my grandkids. It is important to follow the instructions. In fact, I sew the edges of the stockings on a sewing machine. And I also add a light lining that holds the seams. This is definitely something a beginner can master by following the instructions for sewing felt pieces, beads, and embroidery stitches. Cut out the felt pieces one at a time, don't cut them all at once. I also put beads and sequins in a small container.
