Review on AccuMeter Lead Free Pressure Regulator Adjustable by Auden Paz

IMPORTANT: Pressure Setting Notice

If you are installing this on a line that will flow alternately "in" and "out" after this valve, be aware that gauge pressure readings can and probably will vary with flow do state and no flow state. That is, if it is set to a certain pressure when the line is off, the pressure may be different when the line is on. I installed it on the line that feeds the steam generator which recommended 20 pounds. Pressure at generator inlet. Adjusting a valve so that its gauge reads 20 when the generator was not drawing water (i.e. "shut off" downstream of the valve) resulted in almost zero gauge pressure when it was drawing water, which in turn resulted in an insufficient water supply to the generator Generator. Generator. I adjusted the valve so the gauge read 20 lbs. when water is flowing (i.e. "in" downstream of the valve) and this results in a reading of 30+ when not. Correctly adjusted to flow pressure, the water supply problem is solved. I'm sure this isn't a universal issue and in my application is related to volume and feedrate, unit requirements, etc., but it's good to be aware of.
