I am refinishing a cast iron kettle and needed to really go beyond elbow grease because of its age and condirion. I started using wire brushes from my Dremel kit and they worked quite well and lasted a good while. These new brushes I got here fall apart so fast that they literally get stuck in your skin like that story about the 2X4 going through a tree in a tornado. I went through 6 brushes in the half hour I was working on my project and if it wasn't for the foresight of putting on industrial style eye protection I'd be looking for some books in Brail right about now. Picked a wire out of my scalp this morning. I won't be getting anything like this here again.
