It's easy to set up and comes with a reusable basket so I can use my own coffee. With a little experimentation with the amount of grind, you can find the right amount to add. Either a reusable basket or pre-filled capsules will do. It's fast, takes about a minute to brew a 12-ounce cup of coffee, very hot. I wish it was a little taller so I can tuck my travel mug under the spout, but I can quickly pour coffee in this mug without losing any of the temperature. It's bigger than I thought it would be and takes up more space than my old coffee maker. The reservoir holds 70 ounces, which is enough for 5 cups and loose change.
