Review on DEWALT DCE530B Cordless Heat Tool by Ray Adair

Just what I needed. Some of the reviews I think are from people expecting a 1000 degree hair dryer. It says 6 CFM. I needed this to form some pex waterlines. and it's wonderful! If you are trying to tint a car or vinyl an entire car this wasn't done in the back of your mind I wouldn't believe it. but it's 1/3 the size of the $200 Master Appliance Cord Gun. and wireless. I make a lot of 12v switchboards and also great for heat shrink tubing. If you want a big crazy heat gun, unfortunately this isn't for you. but the corded Dewalt gun (don't know the part number) and the Master Appliance gun are both really good. I'd say it has about the same performance as a $50 Wagner heat gun or something in that class. They're all about 12 inches from the workpiece, but as I said. it is wireless. and this is not a 2000 watt hair dryer
