Weight and shot are best in cups

cup is cup and measuring cup I already had. So why did I spend a ridiculous amount of money on these LE Creuset measuring cups? Because they are so cool. Heavy, dense, appealing to a certain Francophile sensibility. I feel like I should smoke Galoise while measuring out my chicken broth. There's no pragmatic defense to owning these measuring cups, this is one of those cases where consumer reports just miss the point. Ridiculously decadent measuring cups, only you know if you want something as stupid as these, but I love them.
