Review on KYB SM5457 Strut Mount by Kartik Starks

I installed these KYB brackets (both SM5456 and SM5457) on an 02 Protege5 to replace a 10 year old OEM strut mount that was falling apart and getting very noisy. In my experience, if you have rear suspension noise on a Protege, it's either due to the strut mount (which seems to be a problem on various Mazdas) or the end links of the anti-roll bar (including the front). This KYB rack mount fitted perfectly and was at the best price with shipping (Super Saver Free Shipping over $25).
