Many who have ridden Varia saddlebags and radar have had difficulty with the brackets that come with the Varia Radar. Luckily one of the bikes I ride has a rack and I found this stem mount to be a good option. Now I can't give credit for this idea and unfortunately I can't remember where I saw this solution so I can't give credit for it either, but I can share it here so others may benefit. I removed the rear reflector from the strut and installed this bracket with an M6 locknut. Now the radar fits perfectly. I was concerned if it was too far from the main unit, but that wasn't a problem. The durability of the plastic insert has yet to be tested, but so far so good.
