We drive an old car with no new and fancy gizmos

It didn't fit our cup holder very well but some cheap velcro straps kept the damn thing from falling off. never mind I bought a passenger seat cushion/massager from BB&B, plugged it in and used it in the car - pure joy. The hubs love the indicator light on the digital display that shows how much power is being used. I wish I had bought this many years ago. sigh
