This is a lifesaver! I used to have to let the chickens out every morning and lock them up at night to protect them. It is worse. When I leave town I had to find someone who would want to do it! No longer! I can only make sure they have water and food every day and not have to worry about predators. Installation was easy. I have NO knowledge and was able to get it working. I even had to make a new door because the old one was too heavy. I set it up to stand in the chicken coop. I have a timer light so the door works with the interior light and not the sun. That's great.
