Review on 🚐 BUG-GUARD BG520B: American Designed RV 12V LED Flood Porch Light with Color Modes - Bright 220 Lumen Amber or 520 Lumen White Light by Deon Sweeney

Very good outdoor lamp for camping.

I took this to go camping with my Goal Zero Yeti 400 (the car was crowded). After attaching the wires I attached the plastic backing and then attached it to my tent with 3 badge magnets. The outside light of the tent, which can be either white or yellow, is great after dark. We mostly use yellow light and white light for cleaning. Much better than battery or gas lights if you have a big tent. The product itself is slightly brighter than a 40 watt incandescent lamp on a white background and consumes only 7 watts. On amber it is also bright, using only 4 watts. (Measurements were made with a Goal Zero Yeti 400 solar generator). The specifications state that the white color temperature is 5000K. This may only be the case with white LEDs, but the device uses both white and amber LEDs when producing a warmer white (pink-white light) around 3800K against a white background. Overall a very good outdoor light for a tent (converted) or camper.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • So far so good
