I bought these about a month ago to replace a set of Ginsu steak knives as 3 of them broke the handle. I needed 6 but I decided to just buy 1 box of 4 first and try them first. I was very impressed with them, they are a good weight and they look great. I never put my sharp knives in the dishwasher as this dulls the knives and causes stains and corrosion. As a result, these knives have never been in the dishwasher and still look as good as they did when they first started and I use them every day. I was so happy with them that I immediately ordered a second set of 4. You won't regret buying these knives if you don't put them in the dishwasher and take a few minutes to hand wash them.
