Purchased to add NVMe to my QNAP TS-453D. Build quality is excellent, NVMe installation was hassle-free. Since it is a QNAP brand, my NAS recognized it immediately. As for the price, it is expensive compared to many other brands. For example, I bought an SSD expansion card for one of my old PCs from Revain for $20. So why did I choose the QNAP brand? Well, to be honest, almost none. However, I read many reviews from other brands where people had problems with the NAS not recognizing the card or not working after updating the NAS firmware or mysteriously stopped working for some reason. Instead of dealing with all that, I chose the QNAP brand. If you don't want any problems or are too lazy to read hundreds of compatibility reviews for other brands to find one that works, then buy this one.
