Well if you saw me you would understand that this is an ironic gift and that's okay. The mug is well made and my wife bought it from a gift shop for about twice what Revain is asking for, so I thought Revain's price was reasonable. As for the seal, yes, the seal is only on one side of the cup. So if you hold it with your right hand, YOU will see the seal. If you hold it with your left hand, OTHERS will see the seal. Remember to always hold your left hand for photos and your right hand for selfies LOL. The size is larger than a regular mug, but not comically large (for example, not as big as Ajit Pai's Rice mug that was circulating on the internet a while ago). ). It's probably somewhere around 1 1/2 or more, but not 2 regular cups of coffee. The color of the mug is a very nice blue on the outside and white on the inside, which I really like as it ensures the inside of this mug is cleaned well. In terms of durability, we threw ours out of the microwave. (about 6 feet) to the ground and it broke. It is ceramic and not indestructible. But I can see that it can withstand a 3 foot drop as it is quite thick and appears to be well made. But unlike any other mug that broke (we have too many mugs), I bought this one again (and I know it's like buying yourself a treat, but what's life without a bit of indulgence) . There's just something attractive about him, that's it. I ended up giving it one star because it's only described on one side (which seems like an odd choice), but other than that I'd recommend it as a great gift (ironically or not) for any trophy husband who's likely to have. and so there is everything you need.
