The bathing suit is super cute. My daughter is on a swim team so she puts this swimsuit to use almost everyday and uses it for one hour. On weekends she uses it for 4+ hours. However I thought I would be able to get much more use out of it than I actually did. We have had other bathing suits last us much longer than this one. The only reason for 3 stars is because this is the only dolphin swimsuit available online and at a reasonable price. Even though I am bummed about the elasticity only lasting 1.5 month, I still purchased another one. My daughter does not like other girls bathing suits with less coverage. She loves the coverage she feels with this one and that’s important to me. We have tried tankinis with the boy short bottoms however those are not ideal when it comes to everyday swimming. Her swim speed will actually pull the shorts down.Aside from the elasticity, the swim suit is adorable. My daughter definitely stands out in the crowd during her swim meets with this suit. The price of the swim suit is bearable if I have to buy a new one every 1.5 month. I’m sure if your child doesn’t swim everyday, the suit will last longer and would be perfect for all summer on those hot days at the pool.The elasticity just seemed to be gone from one day to the next. So it didn’t happen over time. It just seemed like almost an overnight thing. Maybe something unraveled and just chased down a part of the suit. So it truly lasted 1.5 month.(the elasticity is gone in certain places. The front of the swim suit is in tact. The elasticity fell apart around her right leg and her lower back & bottom. See photos)
