Works well, good range
The motion sensor is effective up to a distance of 75 feet, which is impressive for a solar system. It's only been a month, but so far so good. The ringtones are ok, wish there were some more formal tones instead of all the classical music tones. Time will tell if this product can withstand rain and snow. Overall good value for money for a solar powered motion detector.
- SOLAR POWER NO BATTERIES TO REPLACE β The sensor is powered by a built-in rechargeable battery and the battery is charged by the built-in top-mounted solar panel even on rainy or cloudy days. There is also a charging port on the back of the sensor that can be charged with the included USB charging cable or an optional solar panel sold by HTZSAFE when the sensor is installed indoors or in some dark places. Solar motion sensors work from -30 to 150 degrees Fahrenheit.
