Has been replaced by a 1998 Saturn SL1 but does not work
This ignition switch was very difficult to set up and very difficult to install. However, it worked great for a month. Now it works the same as the original lock and prevents the key from being removed or turned. Then suddenly there are no more problems. He starts working again. I'm not sure what's causing this, but I suspect the outer lock cylinder is jamming the tumblers. In any case, you have no choice. This is the only replacement ignition switch available (although it has other brand names). So it's hit and miss. Much luck.
