Easy install on 98 Saturn SL1 - took approx

Easy install on 98 Saturn SL1 - first time I've done this job in 15 minutes. Very light and makes it easy for your Saturn to take off. A very good idea to have this replaced before you get stuck with a huge locksmith bill if the ignition fails somewhere in a car park.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Seller note

Perfect replacement for Saturn S series with square key

The key on my old lock cylinder on my 96 Saturn SL kept falling out. Replaced it with this one and it's been running great ever since! Installed a little over 4 months ago, no problems so far. I just want Saturn on the key. But overall, for the price, it's unbeatable.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Dear

I love the car keys - very shiny and authentic

This ignition lock cylinder fits my 1998 Saturn SC2. I love car keys - very shiny and authentic. However, after we put them in, it didn't fix my machine's starting problem. Turns out I needed a new battery and spark plug repair. So I returned the cylinder and drove my car to the workshop.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • I have nothing wrong with them, everything is fine

This ignition lock cylinder works like the original.

This ignition lock cylinder worked on my 1997 Saturn sc2, I only need to take two keys with me, one for the door and one for the ignition, but this unit works like the original, most people put the keys in the ignition very roughly and that Lack of lubrication wears out faster, I am very happy with this product.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Has been replaced by a 1998 Saturn SL1 but does not work

This ignition switch was very difficult to set up and very difficult to install. However, it worked great for a month. Now it works the same as the original lock and prevents the key from being removed or turned. Then suddenly there are no more problems. He starts working again. I'm not sure what's causing this, but I suspect the outer lock cylinder is jamming the tumblers. In any case, you have no choice. This is the only replacement ignition switch available (although it has other brand…

Pros
  • Everything great!
Cons
  • Many things

Works great, no problems! We bought a used 1999 Saturn because we desperately needed a cheap car (because I crashed our family car two days earlier). The previous owner told us he had some ignition problems just from normal use on a 17 year old car. We checked online to make sure the old Saturn didn't need a special ignition switch. We ordered it and received it within two days. In my. Friend, it was moderately difficult to remove the old ignition switch (for him), but a friend helped remove…

Pros
  • Easy to set up
Cons
  • There are disadvantages

Exactly what I needed

The Saturn ignition cylinder is a complex mechanism and will wear out after intensive use. In that case, you can either take it off, give it a thorough cleaning, oil it up thoroughly and hope for the best, or replace it with a new lock cylinder. Fumbling around fitting a new cylinder for your old keys, which isn't always easy when your old keys are old and worn out! The disadvantage, of course, is that you wind up two different car keys - one for the doors and one for the ignition. Another…

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Some errors

Great replacement for the 1999 SL2!

Great replacement for the 1999 SL2 which after 20 years of continuous use still has its original larvae ignition switch. The biggest trick is making sure the connection to the ignition switch on the back of the pipe - looks like a small protrusion with a slot next to it - isn't binding and that it's rotated to mate with the shaped hole on the end of the replacement cylinder. Otherwise, many fruitless minutes of struggle will surely contain a lot of inappropriate words, which may even make you…

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • No power
