Gave away all my USB to standard plug adapters to friends and family. It seems that almost all new devices these days are USB charged or at least require a USB port for certain functions. I had too many unnecessary, outdated and ugly plugs and wires. Not to mention those heavy duty power strips/surge protectors. Once everything was connected, it became almost impossible to efficiently and neatly tidy up the jungle of cables and electronics. The mess eventually enveloped my workspace, becoming an eyesore. This not only stressed me out, but posed a real danger in countless ways. I now use this one miniature USB hub that will hold almost every device I own, and my standard wall outlets are now available for my other household needs as a bonus. I was shocked to find that I could plug a regular lamp back into my desk, what a privilege! I liked it so much that I bought one for my parents and ordered another for myself. 😉
