I like the shell itself. It protects my MacBook Pro and is very durable. That's the good part! I bought and installed my second one (see 8th or 9th month of use, the seemingly "cheap" adhesive holding them in place is starting to peel. Note that in the photos all four of my footpads "Floating in the air"."." and, like the first one I bought, has been in this state since December 2019. As we feel there is no reason for us to keep the Checking the underside of the product you may suddenly find something quite "sticky" on your finger when touching the bottom corners OR you may see a small white coin sized thing lying on the carpet or on the Hardwood floors stick OR you'll find scratches on the table or desk you use your MacBook on. Again, when you're on the road, you may see that little white "ding" on your car seat, on your carpet, or on the soles of your shoes! the first time this happened to me was i I got confused until my fingers were stuck to the bottom corner of my laptop. Unfortunately, no matter HOW durable this still relatively new hard shell protects your laptop investment, the only remedy for this obvious "peel-and-stick" stand is another product purchase. So what good is product longevity when these sticky little "cheap" demons trick you into replacing a still-serviceable protective case? to enjoy its durability and I don't want to make ANOTHER EARLY PURCHASE because of it!
