Review on AccuMassage Body Back - Dual Pressure Point Massage Tool & Massage Hammer - 2 in 1 Design - Shiatsu Neck Massager Tool, Golf Ball Percussion Massager for Deep Tissue by Veronica Goodwin

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I would happily pay more for a longer lasting product.

Will order a third of these. The idea behind this is great, but for those of us who need real 'deep tissue', the product as such just doesn't cut it. The problem seems to be that the grips screw in next to the rubber golf ball. The hollowed out plastic just isn't designed to take the stress at the joint and the block will break. The company happily replaced the first device and I subsequently bought 2 more (1 for home, 1 for work --> good idea if the person is hunched over a computer screen all day). I've since "rolled" the gadgets I have by drilling a hole in the end of the handle and buying a small metal rod at the hardware store that runs the length of the gadget along with all the essentials Support provides "joints" on the device. But the more important question should be: Why are you doing this? I'd happily pay X dollars more for a device made out of durable plastic or something. You know the manufacturers of a product are aware of the problem are aware if they warn you on the packaging not to "emphasize it too much" (or something like that). PLEASE CHANGE THE DESIGN OF THIS PRODUCT. C'mon load more. They'll still sell a ton. Because as anyone with neck (or calf) pain will see, IT WORKS!

Pros
  • Hammer for impact massage. Unscrew one of the AccuMassge levers to use it as a back massager to self-massage hard-to-reach body parts. At 20 inches long, AccuMassage achieves more than comparable products.
Cons
  • Only available in white
