Easy to use and operate. My tortoise loves playing with it and never leaves it on the glass. But for the past few days I've always found her in the corner curled up next to the filter tubes, so I checked the temp and it dropped to 70-73 instead of her normal 80-83. As it turned out, the heater died after just 7 months of use. I had a lot of water leaking past the heater although it never stuck to the wall so I know that's not the problem. I'm just tired of spending $30-60 on heaters every 3-10 months. I think it has a 1 year warranty but I need to figure out how to take care of it. Until then I will look for a new one.
