I bought this to portably connect my Nintendo Switch to my hotel room TV when traveling. When I tested it at home, I found that it needs external power to display the image from my Switch on the screen. That's not a problem, I was able to use the charger for my Samsung Galaxy as a power source. But if I hadn't already been sitting idly by, I probably would have been disappointed. So make sure you have an external power supply for this dock if you plan to use it to connect a switch to your TV. Otherwise it's great! I love the tote bag. The size and portability are perfect.
